Galbreath Inc's new Crushed Car Cruiser is a trailer specially designed for the scrap and automotive recycling industries to transport crushed cars.
The Crushed Car Cruiser meets the new safety standards required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration that took effect Jan 1, 2004.
This trailer is available with any combination of front, rear, and driver side enclosure including steel sheet, expanded metal, or two-sided tarp. Standard flat, drop, or double-drop designs are provided in lengths ranging from 40 to 53 feet on any axle combination. The steel flooring includes structural tubing for car placement by a forklift.
Other features include a minimum of eight steel cable winch tiedowns, Wabco ABS, zero-maintenance LED lights, choice of manual or automatic tarping system, and low-profile 22570R22.5 radial tires with 10-bolt hub-piloted steel rims.
