Matt Boler has become vice-president of corporate development for The Boler Co. He returns to the firm, having formerly served as its director of strategic planning. Kurt Kern, who succeeds him as general manager of Hendrickson Bumper and Trim, was promoted from director of operations for Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems at Woodridge IL. Sean Coleman has returned from Hendrickson corporate sales to Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems as director of program management. A 13-year veteran of Hendrickson, he served as director of truck OEM sales the past three years. Rick Johnson recently assumed duties as director-information technology for the company and will be based at the Woodridge facility. He joined Hendrickson as e-business manager in 2005.

Austin Hardware & Supply Inc has hired Zaven Zafirian as Canadian sales manager, the firm's first full-time representative dedicated solely to the Canadian market. He has served as sales director for a major Canadian industrial hardware distributor, as well as managing director for Eberhard Hardware Manufacturing.

William “Bill” Weeks has joined Pulltarps Mfg as chief executive officer responsible for the operation of all three Pulltarps locations. He brings more than 25 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and finance to the firm.

ArvinMeritor Inc announced that Rakesh Sachdev has been named president of Asia Pacific, effective immediately. Sachdev most recently served as senior vice-president of strategy and corporate development for the firm.

EnPro Industries announced that Jon Cox, currently vice-president and general manager, Garlock Klozure Dynamic Seals, has been named division president, Stemco LP. He will replace Richard Andrews, who is retiring. Andrews joined Stemco in 1996 and became president in 1998. Cox will relocate to Stemco's headquarters in Longview TX.

Al Cohn, director of new market development and engineering support for Pressure Systems International, is now chairman of the Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Committee of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). This panel will organize commercial vehicle maintenance sessions for the 2007 SAE Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress and Exhibition, set for October 26-28 at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Chicago IL.

Lars Wilsby, formerly SKF's business development director-Automotive Division, has been appointed vice-president-SKF Vehicle Service Market (VSM). He will continue to be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Reyco Granning, a commercial vehicle suspension product line of Tuthill Transport Technologies, has appointed Guy Vachon group director of marketing. Vachon comes to Reyco Granning from Hendrickson International, where he was director of aftermarket for its sales organization.

Gregory A Gumbs has been named director-sales, Americas, for Eaton Corp's Fluid Power Group's Hydraulics Operations. He joins Eaton from Rockwell Automation — Allen-Bradley Co, where he most recently served as director-market development.
