Partnership allows organizations to recruit, train and employ those interested in serving the nation and pursuing a profession in the transportation and logistics industry

The U.S. Army Reserve and Schneider National, Inc., will host an official signing ceremony on Friday at 10 a.m. to launch an innovative new partnership that will allow both organizations to recruit, train and employ those interested in serving the nation and pursuing a profession in the transportation and logistics industry.

Schneider National is joining the Army Reserve as an employer partner. The one-of-a-kind Employer Partnership Initiative created by the Army Reserve seeks to formalize the relationship between the Army Reserve and patriotic employers who are drawing from and using the same dynamic workforce.

The event will feature Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz, Chief, U.S. Army Reserve, and Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command; Tim Fliss, EVP Human Resources, Schneider National, Inc.; and Mike Hinz, Soldier-Employee, Global Business General Manager, Schneider National, Inc.

Following the signing ceremony, Lt. Gen. Stultz will participate in a special “Sound the Horn” salute inside the company’s Corporate Business Center, followed by his departure in Schneider’s 2008 Ride of Pride (a military-themed truck) from the company’s headquarters.
