Cummins Filtration will supply the crankcase ventilation (CV) systems for Navistar’s International MaxxForce 7 V-8 engine platform. The CV systems are designed to help control particulate matter (PM) emissions in truck exhaust. “The growing importance of reducing particulate emissions makes crankcase ventilation systems a critical component to today’s diesel engine systems,” said Cary Chenanda, executive director & gm-global OEM sales for Cummins Filtration.

“We’ve jointly collaborated [with Navistar] to package the next generation of CV technology into the engine envelope for easier integration into their broad range of vehicle applications,” Chenanda added, noting that Cummins Filtration offers custom integrated designs as well as a standard range of CV management solutions to its global customer base.
