Würfel Holding GmbH has purchased 200 new Krone Jumbo swap bodies to be used predominantly in the chemical, automobile, building material and packaging industries.
The new equipment forms part of a comprehensive modernization of the fleet where, in addition to the bodies, a large proportion of the tractors are also being replaced.
"Swap box bodies are being used by many of our customers, and the requirement is increasing continuously. Because our customers place great emphasis on quality and functionality, we have been using Krone for years", explained Karim Gebara, Managing Director of Würfel Holding GmbH.
"In addition to quality and durability, the advantage of a Krone swap body is its user-friendliness. The fold-away and locking of the support legs is carried out in a few minutes. This saves valuable time and thus, real cash.
"The future of logistics depends on fast and cost-effective product distribution and in this regard, swap systems play an important role", confirmed Dr Frank Albers, National Sales and Marketing Manager at Krone.
Würfel Holding GmbH currently manages around 1,000 swap box bodies and 400 vehicles which provide their customers with customized logistics systems. Based in Bremerhaven in Germany, the company employs more than 1,000 employees.
