In response to growing demand, walk-in step van manufacturer Morgan Olson is expanding its Sturgis, MI production facilities into nearby Howe, IN with the addition of a 163,000 sq. ft. facility, the company reports.
“Morgan Olson walk-vans are in demand more than ever,” says Rich Tremmel, Morgan Olson’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We’ve been very fortunate with capturing large orders from major parcel package delivery companies. However, other important industries and valued customers use Morgan Olson walk-in vans everyday … as an integral part of their business service, and we’re expanding to keep up with our customers’ needs for our product.”
Just within the past two years, Morgan Olson opened a new 350,000 sq. ft. plant in Loudon, TN to keep up with the demand of their popular walk-in step van body. The Tennessee facility features the latest in state of the art robotic production tools to mainstream production while maintaining the highest possible level of quality that’s built into every Morgan Olson walk-in van body they build.
“When you’re the ‘preferred’ walk-in step van body company of North America and your plants are full, we needed to grow to meet our customer’s needs,” Tremmel adds. “This most recent expansion will improve our production capacity and continue serving our customers by providing quality walk-in vans, on time – every time.”
