J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers and J&J Truck Equipment, divisions of Somerset Welding & Steel, recently appointed Jason Yantus as quality assurance manager.
In this capacity, Yantus will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all quality assurance systems and activities for both companies. He also will implement programs to ensure the company’s ISO 9001:2015 ABS Quality Evaluations Certificate of Conformance is executed and monitored.
Yantus will report to Joe Caldrone, director of operations
“We are excited to bring Jason on board and we are confident that he will successfully oversee our quality management program, which guarantees the adherence of the following four key elements in our day-to-day operations: customer satisfaction, high quality products, on-time delivery and continuous improvement,” Caldrone said.
Prior to joining J&J, Yantus worked at Leiss Tool & Die, where he was responsible for quality control, building and inspection of ASME pressure vessels, engineering and project management. He’s a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Welding and Fabrication Technology.
