Drive Products has completed its Manitoba expansion and opened the new Drive Products Manufacturing facility in Morden, the company reported.
In 2021, Drive Products announced its return to the province with the opening of an upfitting facility in Winnipeg and shortly after that a transitioning manufacturing facility in Morden. The investment into Manitoba and Western Canada is part of the company’s long-term plans of enhancing its coast-to-coast operations with brick-and-mortar locations in all industrial regions of Canada.
Drive Products Manufacturing facility in Morden boasts 56,000 sq ft. and will manufacture a select suite of products from Voth Truck Bodies, Kargo King Roll-Off Systems, Bigmax Roll-offs, and more. The new facility was built to enhance the company’s ability to deliver and support existing and new distribution customers with manufactured goods in Western Canada and extend coverage south of the border into the Midwest and Western US markets.
Additionally, an existing facility across from the new building will continue to serve as a satellite shop to upfit and service the local work truck market, Drive Products said.
