Wabash National Makes Management Changes

Feb. 25, 2014
Wabash National Corporation has made two management changes to support the company's ongoing strategic growth.

Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) has made two management changes to support the company's ongoing strategic growth: Bob Nida has been appointed to the new position of Vice President of Organizational Development and Rick Klein, formerly General Manager for Transcraft, has been appointed Vice President and General Manager, Retail.

Nida will report to Bill Pitchford, Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Nida, who holds a doctorate in organizational leadership and has extensive experience in human resources executive leadership positions, will lead the continued refinement of talent development initiatives across the company.

Nida joined Wabash National in February 2008 as Vice President of Business Development and most recently served as Vice President and General Manager, Retail.

Klein will report to Dick Giromini, President and Chief Executive Officer. Klein joined Wabash National in 2010 and has been instrumental in leading Transcraft into a high-performing, strong contributor to the company's success. In his new role, Mr. Klein will build on Retail's past success, and drive strategic initiatives to further enhance growth and profitability of Wabash National's 18 company-owned retail locations, which are responsible for new and used trailer sales, aftermarket parts sales, and maintenance and repair services.

"This realignment of responsibilities capitalizes on these leaders' backgrounds and strengths, while aligning our structure at the senior level to meet our key business priorities," said Giromini. "I look forward to Mr. Nida's and Mr. Klein's continued strong leadership as we advance our corporate-wide talent development initiatives and our Retail growth strategies."
