Extreme Trailers Manufacturing recently hosted an open house at its Dover, Ohio, manufacturing operations.

Ceremonies and events were kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Invited guests included city, county and state legislators, and Tuscarawas County leadership groups along with customers, vendors and employees.

Les Smith, president and CEO Extreme Trailer LLC opened event activities with a greeting and overview of the company’s history. Tours of the facility and up-close viewing of products followed. A social gathering at the conclusion of tours ended the day’s events.

“We have strong relationships with all our partners and customers,” said Smith. “We are adding dealers every day and are very excited to host this open house that gives guests an up-close and personal look at our facility, our products and our people. We are looking forward to a great 2017 and beyond.”

Extreme Trailers secured its current manufacturing space in May 2016. The company began operations with five employees and quickly tripled its employment. The company expects to employ nearly 100 by first quarter in 2018.
