NTDA scholarship applications now online, due July 8

April 10, 2018
The National Trailer Dealers Association is once again offering a scholarship for one or more graduating high school seniors.

The National Trailer Dealers Association is once again offering a scholarship for one or more graduating high school seniors whose parent is an employee of an NTDA Dealer, Dealer Branch or Allied member company, the organization reports. Applications are due July 8.

The 2018 scholarship is underwritten by Michelin, WABCO, HAVCO Wood Products LLC, East Manufacturing Corp., Transglobal Door, and Pressure Systems International on behalf of the NTDA. Individuals from Dealer and Allied member companies also contributed to the scholarship program, and the NTDA’s annual golf tournament raises additional funds.

The number of scholarships offered in a given year is based on the amount of underwriting support received. The corresponding amount of each scholarship will be determined by the NTDA Board of Directors and the Scholarship Judging Committee.

An applicant must be a graduating high school senior in 2018 who is going into college the same year they graduate. Considerations for all scholarships awarded include academic capability, financial need, personal and school references, participation in school and community activities, and/or work experience.

Complete details are available on the NTDA scholarship web page.

Additionally, NTDA is seeking additional underwriters for 2018. Contact NTDA President Gwen Brown at (810) 229-5960 or [email protected].
