After 32 successful years in the trailer industry, APC Equipment has expanded operations from Arizona to Texas with a new location in Waco.
Owner Kris French has planned on expanding his business for the last five years, but didn’t feel right about the timing or location. In 2016, he and his family moved to Waco, Texas. He soon realized that Waco was exactly where he wanted to open his new store. After two long years searching for the right piece of property, employees and manufacturers, Lone Star Trailers opened its doors on February 5.
The location, right off Interstate 35, is already bringing customers in. The growth in central Texas is at an all-time high and the new location in Waco puts APC Equipment within just a few hours from Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston – some of the cities with the highest rates of trailer sales in the industry. The new store will be run by husband and wife team Reast and Logan Weir, and Cameron Rice will oversee all manual operations.
French says his new team, “are as hard-working, trustworthy, loyal and good as they come.”
The new location, dubbed Lone Star Trailers, will carry PJ Trailers, East Texas Longhorn Trailers, LLC, Delco Trailers, Cargo Express and Lark United.
