VTL orders 40 new Dry Liners from Krone

VTL (Vernetzte-Transport-Logistik GmbH) has ordered 40 new Dry Liner trailers from Krone.

Andreas Jäschke, managing director, has now officially received the first  trailer in Werlte.

“We take our responsibility for maintaining the natural environment very seriously,” said Jäschke. “That is why we not only train our drivers regularly, but also investigate how we can use innovative technology to reduce CO2 emissions when purchasing new vehicles. The aerodynamic Krone fuel saver kit is, for example, a very good solution.”

In addition to the aerodynamic package, the Dry Liner has a  cassette panel design with internal key hole plates for multiple load retention points.

“In particular for tough packaged goods transport, the double wall and robust body meet the highest requirements. At the same time, the key hole plates offer the maximum load protection that no other manufacturer can provide,” said  Ingo Geerdes, Krone’s director of key account management.

VTL networks more than 125 medium-size cargo companies into a comprehensive transport service. In 2012, the network moved 1.4 million shipments. ♦
