Custom roll former OMCO has entered into an agreement with IXL Solar of Australia. OMCO will provide technical expertise related to the design and production of roll-formed parts by IXL Solar for use in the construction of a 155-megawatt solar project near the towns of Nyngan and Broken Hill in Australia. This project is part of the Australian government’s Solar Flagships Program.
OMCO will design, manufacture, and provide technical support for a complete roll-forming line including pre-punch dies, a stamping press, and a cut-off station. The entire manufacturing line will be designed, fabricated, and pre-qualified at OMCO’s corporate headquarters in Wickliffe OH before shipment to IXL Solar in Australia. ♦
