Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. has relocated and expanded its Fort Myers Service Center to accommodate increased demand in the Southwest Florida region.

The 16-door facility employs 13 people. Old Dominion has maintained a presence in Fort Myers for seven years.

The service center serves as a convenient hub for the company as it is situated roughly midway between Miami and Tampa on Interstate 75. The facility transports a variety of freight, benefiting from the region’s strong retail, tourism and manufacturing industries.

“After years of sustained growth in the area, it was time to expand our facility to serve our new customers alongside our long-tenured ones,” said Kenneth Varner, manager of the Fort Myers Service Center. “From this new location, we will continue to deliver our customers the premium service they have come to expect from Old Dominion.”

The service center provides direct service to Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples, Lehigh Acres, Labelle, Bonita Springs and Estero in Florida.

The facility is located at 16250 Old U.S. 41 in Fort Myers and is one of 10 Old Dominion service centers in Florida.
