The family-owned parts dealer and service center for Western snowplows and spreaders joined Power Heavy Duty to continue meeting any need their customers have

Bostick Truck Center, a parts dealer and service provider for Western snowplows and spreaders, has become one of the newest members of Power Heavy Duty.

“We welcome Bostick Truck Center to our network and are excited by what they bring to our group,” said Jim Pennig, vice president of business development for the VIPAR Heavy Duty Family of Companies. “Their impressive history of innovation and versatility makes them a great fit for Power Heavy Duty.”

Founded in 1966 and based in Pontiac, Michigan, Bostick Truck Center is in its third generation of ownership with brothers Jim Bostick Jr., general manager, and Scott Bostick, parts manager, acquiring the company in 2010.

“We started originally as a spring shop and heavy-truck suspension specialists, and we’re still well known for that, but we’ve grown into an all-around aftermarket truck parts and service provider,” said Scott Bostick. “We take the parts business very seriously and feel joining Power Heavy Duty reinforces that message.”

As one of the largest truck-body upfitters in their region, Bostick Truck Center needs to have access to the diversity of equipment Power Heavy Duty provides, a diversity that mirrors that wide range of work they do for their customers.

“It started with our customers asking us if we could do that type of work for them, if we could install a new dump body or repair a scissor hoist,” Bostick said. “We were already doing fabrication on the spring and suspension side, and body upfitting often requires some custom fabrication, so we added it to the services we provide, and things have continued to grow from there.”
