Sapa Profiles North America has announced that it is investing $2 million as a major expansion of anodizing operations at its Miami, FL plant. Construction will begin in December with completion and full operation slated for mid-first quarter, 2012.

Sam Tingler, Miami plant manager, noted that, “This investment will more than double our Miami anodizing capacity to over 13 million pounds annually. We will offer a full range of services in clear and electrolytic colored anodic coatings as well as acid etch. Further, it demonstrates our continued commitment to this facility, the surrounding community and the regional market.”
