VMAC used this year's Utility Expo in Louisville to demonstrate its 5-in-1 multifunction power unit.

Powered by a Honda gas engine, it includes a 40-CFM rotary screw air compressor, an 8-kW generator a 250-amp welder, a 300-amp battery booster, and a 12- and 24-volt battery charger.

“After hearing requests from our dealers and customers for a multipower system with a gas engine that addresses shortfalls with existing product offerings in the market, VMAC has launched a multifunction power system that has been engineered to be 56% quieter, 33% more powerful, and 56% lighter than competitive multipower systems," says Gordon Duval, VMAC’s VP of sales & marketing.

VMAC says the unit emits 58 dBA at low idle and 73 dBA at high idle to help reduce noise levels on the job site to improve communication and protect hearing.
