Accuride Corporation, a supplier of components to the commercial vehicle industry, recently received PACCAR 10 PPM Quality Awards for its four North American wheel-production facilities.
The company’s steel wheel plants in London, Ontario, Canada, and Henderson KY, its aluminum wheel plant in Erie PA and its steel and aluminum wheel plant in Monterrey, Mexico, earned the award for their performance in 2019.
This is the third time Accuride plants have received the award.
The annual program recognizes suppliers who exceed PACCAR’s “10 ppm” quality standard, or the equivalent of 10 defective parts for every million components shipped to PACCAR. To qualify, suppliers also must meet demanding criteria for warranty support and continuous improvement.
