Rainier Truck & Chassis LLC of Yakima, Washington, has developed a new line of American-designed and manufactured Class 4-7 COE truck platforms.
The truck platforms are designed for vertical or horizontal exhaust configuration, single or dual steer applications, urban delivery, towing, refrigerated vans, landscaping, street sweepers, refuse, and on-highway duty cycles. Rainier Truck & Chassis LLC is the only North American COE truck manufacture to offer gasoline, diesel and alternative fuel options from Class 4-7.
The product line is competitively priced and will be marketed as an American alternative to the former GMC and UD platforms that exited the market a few years ago.
Production commences the fourth quarter of 2014.
