Western Star Trucks has launched its EPA 2007 Seminar Series, held in conjunction with Freightliner LLC and Detroit Diesel. Developed to educate attendees about the government's new emissions standards, each seminar will cover 2007 engine and chassis features as they relate to heavy-duty on-highway and vocational trucks.

Additionally, chassis design updates, components affected by the EPA 2007 requirements, and regeneration and cleaning strategies for diesel particulate filters (DPF) will be discussed.

Ideal for body builders, Western Star dealers, and end users, the seminars will be held in various locations nationwide this year, with some virtual seminars available via WebEx.

"The EPA 2007 standards have resulted in modifications to the trucks and components with which we are all familiar," said Ann Demitruk, Director of Marketing for Western Star Trucks. "We developed this brand-specific seminar series to ensure that everyone who drives or works with Western Star trucks is fully informed of the upcoming changes."
