RP 12-02 — Trailer Air Brake System Integrity Test — Revised September 2002, originally issued July 1965. This is intended for use in truck trailer production lines as a final air system integrity test before the vehicle is certified as ready for service. $38.

RP 38-02 — Method of Testing and Rating Heat Transmission of Controlled-Temperature Vehicles/Domestic Containers — Revised September 2002, originally issued July 1973. This establishes standard test methods for determining rates of heat transmission and air leakage of controlled-temperature vehicles and domestic containers which can readily be conducted within the facility of a manufacturer. Plus establishes heat transmission rating method of controlled-temperature vehicles and domestic containers. $75.

This is intended to serve as a guide for proper design and construction of non-pressure tank vehicles for transporting asphalts (bitumens) and other elevated temperature materials identified in 49 CFR 172.101 and described in 49 CFR 173.345.2. $38.
