Supreme Corp recognized as top volume supplier in U.S. by General Motors

General Motors recently announced that Supreme Corporation is General Motors' top body manufacturer for Chevy and GMC cutaway van chassis in the United States, with volume topping all other suppliers across the country.

"Our nationwide network of manufacturing sites allowed us to outpace the competition," said Barry Lown, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Supreme Corporation. "This year, we added a new manufacturing site in Woodburn, Oregon, and this helped us sell even more Supreme bodies on GM cutaway chassis. Additionally, our strong relationships with Chevy and GMC dealers nationwide reinforces our commitment to the GM product line."

Said Rich Thompson, Commercial Account Manager for General Motors Fleet and Commercial Operations, “Supreme's volume is high across both our retail and fleet businesses. The innovative Spartan Service Van body on the GMC 610 Van best exemplifies the strength of the GM-Supreme relationship. This combination has been a win-win success for both GM and Supreme.

“Supreme's national distribution network supplies GM dealers from Rhode Island to California which enables them to achieve our top volume award for a multiple location supplier. GM considers Supreme a valued partner who works closely to supply truck bodies for a variety of applications, ranging from parcel delivery to specialty vehicles."

Supreme offers a variety of van options through GM light- and medium-duty commercial dealers:

* The Spartan Cargo Van combines maximum cargo space with the easy handling of a traditional cargo van. It's the perfect step-up for growing businesses that demand maneuverability.

* Supreme's Iner-City Cutaway van builds unlimited cargo versatility into a route truck. Iner-City offers a wide range of service applications, including cargo, delivery, vending, and parcel vans.

* The Spartan Service Van acts as a workshop on wheels for job-site protection from the weather while offering a secure, lockable workspace.
