Snow and Ice Symposium coming in June

An estimated 1,000 people are expected to travel to downtown Milwaukee WI in June for the 10th annual Snow and Ice Symposium, according the Snow and Ice Management Association. The SIMA Symposium features a two-day tradeshow and three-day seminar for snow and ice removal professionals in North America.

The 2007 Symposium will be held June 13-16, 2007, at the Midwest Airlines Center in downtown Milwaukee. Events include testing for SIMA's Certified Snow Professional program; educational sessions focusing on topics such as proper insurance, sales and marketing, management, and slip and fall claims; meetings and receptions for SIMA members and volunteers; roundtable discussions with snow and ice professionals; a tradeshow; and equipment giveaways.

The Symposium will also include a tour of the Western Snowplows manufacturing facilities.
