The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) will present the second in a series of annual seminars titled “Great Designs In Steel.” Set for Feb 19, 2003, from 7 am to 4 pm at the Laurel Manor in Livonia MI, this free seminar encourages North American automotive engineers to share the benefits and successful applications of new steel technologies. The 2003 program will focus on Advanced High-Strength Steels (AHSS) and will offer concurrent tracks.

This year, Roy H Sjoberg, former executive engineer — materials, engineering, and Viper Project at DaimlerChrysler Corp, will be featured lunchtime speaker. The title of his presentation is “Great Designs Require Great Teamwork.”
