Peterson Manufacturing Company has earned an industry award from Caterpillar Inc. The 2010 Supplier Quality Excellence Process Award was presented after Peterson met and exceeded eight stringent business performance metrics established by Caterpillar.
Certification for this award was completed in November 2010, with Caterpillar officials personally delivering the honor recently. Peterson is the first and only lighting supplier to earn this recognition, according to Steve Meagher, vice-president of sales.
Peterson supplies Caterpillar with a variety of industrial lighting needs. Its lights can be found around the world on Cat vehicles, mining equipment, and grading equipment.
