In January 2004, Flli. Ferrari was purchased by a group headed by Dr Gioancarlo Perego, former export manager for Flli. Ferrari. It will become part of a group of companies that include hydraulic, metals, and electronic businesses.
Flli. Ferrari plans to expand its export business. Expansion includes just-in-time deliveries of cranes and an expanded model range. As part of this expansion, Venturo Mfg Inc, which has represented Ferrari cranes exclusively in most states, will now become the sole importer of Ferrari cranes for the United States market.
Venturo will continue to stock most models of cranes for immediate delivery to its distributors. The Venturo line will continue to grow with a product line that includes electric, electric-hydraulic, and full hydraulic cranes, Venturo heavy-duty crane bodies, and Ferrari articulating cranes. All lines will be supported by on-sight service through Venturo.
