Mitsubishi Electric has introduced a Class 8 alternator, which the company says offers exceptional durability, improved fuel economy, increased payload potential and lower noise levels.

Mitsubishi Electric has introduced a Class 8 alternator, which the company says offers exceptional durability, improved fuel economy, increased payload potential and lower noise levels.

The alternator has a global three-year warranty failure rate of less than 1%, Mitsubishi said, and is built to be a PAD-mount, 145-amp product with a brushless design. The alternator weighs in at 20 lbs.
