Metrix Corp LLC, based in Watertown SD, is expanding its Paint Division, a Class “A” production paint facility to include more powder and liquid applications. A vertically integrated contract manufacturer, Metrix specializes in low- and mid-volume production of large and complex fabrications.
This expansion will add another large-component powdercoating line capable of coating truck body assemblies and a powdercoating line designed for hydraulic cylinders and valve bodies. The company will double its capacity to better meet requirements of secured paint contracts and other regional clients. The expansion will also enable Metrix to continue to offer prototype and emergency production paint support without disrupting production commitments.
Construction is expected to be completed by Feb 1, 2007.
