MAX International, the Manufacturing Applications Expo, created by the joining of the American Welding Society (AWS) and the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) annual conventions and exhibitions, proved to be an electrically charged show.

More than 20,700 people attended the MAX International show in Cleveland, Ohio. According to Nannette Zapata, spokesperson for the American Welding Society, MAX International occupied more than 800,000 gross square feet of space with over 980 exhibitors. As an added benefit, the show was the largest tradeshow ever to be held in Cleveland.

“The show benefited thousands of industry leaders, as demonstrated by the strength of the AWS and PMA coparticipation, the quality of attendees, and the favorable comments made by exhibitors endorsing the show,” said Zapata.

PMA Metalform and the AWS Welding Show will be joining forces again to bring MAX International to McCormick Place in Chicago. For more information on the 2002 show, visit www.maxinternational.com.
