The crane manufacturer was founded in 1961 by a group headed by Dan Moore, with the intention of producing electric cranes for 12-volt DC applications. Herb Koenig Jr purchased the business in 1983.
Liftmoore currently manufactures electric and hydraulic truck-mounted cranes with moment ratings up to 72,000 ft-lb and maximum lifting capacities from 1,500 to 10,000 pounds.
