The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) has announced that the next International Intermodal Expo will be held Nov 17-20, 2002, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim CA.

Expo 2002 will be co-located with the National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) exhibition at TransComp. The decision to co-locate was based on cooperative efforts over the past two years among the IANA, NITL, and Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA).

Since 1997, the Georgia Freight Bureau (GFB) and IANA have jointly presented the Expo. A decision was made in 2000 to stage the event in alternating years beginning with the 2002 show. However, in October 2001, the GFB announced cancellation of the April 2002 event and its withdrawal as co-presenter. IANA has since assumed all rights and interests in the show.

Exhibitor and sponsorship information and a program schedule will be published in January 2002. For updated information, access www.intermodal.org or phone Laurie Reed at 301-982-3400, ext 32.
