Hydro Aluminum North America has restructured to strengthen its focus on the transportation market. Effective Jan 1, 2004, a new unit, Hydro Aluminum Transportation Components, dedicated solely to transportation, was established.
This new unit consists of a sales and market development organization serving all of Hydro Aluminum North America's transportation customers, as well as the company's Sidney OH and Fayetteville TN contract manufacturing facilities. The new structure brings a more coordinated national sales effort targeted toward transportation customers across North America.
Jack Pell has been named vice-president of Hydro Aluminum Transportation Components and will head the new unit. Pell has been with Hydro and predecessor Wells Aluminum for 15 years and has concentrated on building the company's position in transportation.
