Hiab's truck-mounted forklift company Moffett Engineering Ltd, based in Dundalk, Ireland; and Combilift Ltd, based in Clontibret, Ireland, have entered into a license-based cooperation arrangement. This partnership covers know-how and includes an agreement giving Moffett the right to manufacture and sell a new Telemount truck-mounted forklift developed by Combilift.
The new Moffett Telemount forklift, equipped with a telescopic arm, will be manufactured in Dundalk, Ireland. It will be introduced on the market through Hiab's sales channels for Moffett products during autumn 2006.
The parties have also agreed on future research and development cooperation within truck-mounted forklifts.
