Genesis HP premium single-stage is a two-component urethane topcoat from Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. This new technology provides quicker process times with no baking required; this allows OEMs and fleet repair shops to turn down the heat to increase energy savings and improve production times.

With Genesis HP, paint shops can go from prime to finished product up to 65% faster and save more than 75% on energy costs related to the paint process.

When used with one of Sherwin-Williams Genesis primers, the new Genesis HP delivers a finish that is out of dust in as little as eight minutes and tape-free within 30 to 40 minutes. Using Sherwin-Williams' proprietary Air-Dry Technology, Genesis HP cures in ambient temperatures at about 70° to 75° F. Not only does this elimination of high-heat bake cycles reduce a paint shop's energy requirements, but it also helps meet tight cycle time goals.

Easy to mix and use, Genesis HP provides other benefits including: resistance to chipping in extreme conditions; excellent moisture, chemical, and corrosion resistance; and excellent color and gloss levels. This new topcoat system is VOC compliant and offers a selection of popular solid colors.

Because of its fast dry times, Genesis HP is desirable for original equipment manufacturers as well as fleet refinishers.
