Dodge has announced pricing for the 2008 Sprinter.
The base manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2008 Dodge Sprinter Chassis Cab is $33,900, which includes $980 for destination. The MSRP for the 2008 Dodge Sprinter Cargo Van is $36,105 and the Sprinter Passenger Van is $38,935, both also include $980 for destination. All prices are based on a standard diesel engine. Dodge's “super-sized” work vans arrive later in 2007.
With a choice of two premium engines — a 3.0-liter V-6 diesel or 3.5-liter V-6 gas engine — the 2008 Dodge Sprinter is available in three vehicle lengths (233, 273, and 289 inches) on two wheelbases of 144 inches or 170 inches, or 170 inches extended with a 15-inch longer rear overhang. It also has three interior roof height options: standard (65 inches), high (76 inches), and mega (84 inches).
The 2008 Dodge Sprinter has cargo capacity up to 600 cubic feet, maximum payload of 5,649 lb, side step-in height of 19.9 inches, interior roof height up to seven feet, and rear-door opening of 270 degrees). Its pallet-friendly cargo sliding door offers a loading width of 51 inches. The 2008 Dodge Sprinter also delivers more than 25 advanced safety and security features.
