Dana Corp. Commercial Vehicle Systems group has added a new integrated driver display module to its Dana Spicer Tire Pressure Control System as well as dash-mounted rocker switches. The additions are designed to simplify the optimization of tire pressures under varying load and terrain conditions, Dana said.

The driver interface now supports two load modes—loaded and unloaded—and three terrain selections—highway, off-highway and emergency. These options comprise six settings for optimal tire pressure.

The system is available on most make and models of vocational heavy-duty trucks, according to the manufacturer, adding that it is the only system of its kind available as a factory-installed data book option.
