Clean Seal celebrated its 25th year with an open house Sept 18, 2003. Started in 1978 by Juanita Moore, who died in 1997, the company has seen continuous growth in the marketing of extruded rubber sealant products.
“The growth has required us to move into larger facilities three times since 1978,” according to Bill Dawson, vice-president/general manager. “We've added warehouse and office space at each of the locations until we ran out of space.”
In autumn 2000, the family-owned business moved into a 72,000-square-foot facility at 20900 West Ireland Road in South Bend IN. The Moore family continues to operate the business.
