The board of directors of the Council of Fleet Specialists has extended an invitation to all heavy-duty parts and service providers to participate in the 2005 CFS Executive Conference set for April 17-20, 2005, in Kansas City MO. The theme is “Celebrating the Spirit of Independents.”

Features for 2005 include:

  • Two Newsmaker Live panel interviews covering current topics presented by Heavy Duty Trucking and Truck Parts & Service magazines.

  • Educational awards by Northwood University and a legislative update by HVMG at daily breakfast meetings.

  • Scheduled time for meetings of heavy-duty marketing groups.

  • Computer Solutions midway area for suppliers of the latest in technology.

  • Educational seminars and a roundtable breakout discussion session.

  • Distributor of the Year reception honoring winners and nominees from the ongoing Kona/Northwood program.

  • For fun, the first-ever CFS 18 Wheel Pinewood Challenge.

The charge for participating in all activities (except the private one-on-one supplier meetings) is $275. This includes all social functions and eligibility to compete in the 18 Wheel Pinewood Challenge.
