International Truck and Engine Corp. will manufacture its new International VT 275 V-6 diesel engine in its plant in Huntsville, AL. The plant will use lean manufacturing processes and modern equipment to build the engines, the company said.
"We are focused on delivering the best mid-range diesel engine available, and the major reason we can do that is through our manufacturing capability," said Anna Miller, International Diesel of Alabama plant manager.
The new engine will launch this fall.
