Aftermarket Web Challenge Winner Chosen

The Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) Information Services Council (MIS Council) announced that ArvinMeritor's XpresswayPlus.com won

The Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) Information Services Council (MIS Council) announced that ArvinMeritor's XpresswayPlus.com won the inaugural Aftermarket Web Challenge (AWC), established to recognize and promote excellence in Web development and design in the aftermarket.

XpresswayPlus.com is an online ordering system for ArvinMeritor truck-related parts and components. The MIS Council, consists of e-commerce and information technology professionals who work for automotive aftermarket suppliers. The challenge was held at the council's annual fall conference at St Pete Beach FL recently.

ArvinMeritor won by competing against four other automotive parts manufacturers: Cardone Industries, Dana Brake & Chassis, Haldex Brake Systems, and KEM Mfg. Companies demonstrated their Web sites in categories including overview, customer service/technical support, design/navigation/marketing, and database/parts look-up.
