Hutch 900 single-point suspensions are built to meet the demands of heavy-duty on- and off-road applications, such as dump, bulk commodities, logging, and other similar types of heavy-duty load hauling. The 900 performs in tough terrain and other intense operating conditions as well as general over-the-road applications, comes standard with 38" spring centers (wider spring centers are available), and has a weight capacity rating (GTWR) of 36,000, 44,000, 50,000, 60,000, and 70,000 lbs depending on model specified. A lightweight three-leaf unit is also provided at GTWR of 44,000 and 50,000 lbs.

This suspension has heat-treated and prime-painted cast steel parts, extra heavy-duty 5"-wide leaf springs, a split trunnion casting for easy replacement and maintenance of trunnion bushings, thick rubber pads above the spring leaves for increased flexibility and “twist freedom” in the spring box, and adjustable plates in the spring-end boxes for easier axle realignments when needed.
